BIAW's 2023 Excellence in Remodeling Awards
Each year, BIAW holds its annual Excellence in Remodeling (EIR) Awards competition designed to recognize the state’s outstanding remodeling projects showcasing quality craftsmanship in various categories and price ranges. The competition is open to all BIAW members.
Judging criteria are based on aesthetics, special or unique design solutions, quality of craftsmanship, appropriate building materials, budgetary consideration, and challenges or obstacles the project’s design requirements face.
Last year, BIAW members from across the state submitted 57 entries in 25 different categories. Once submitted, projects are presented before a blind panel of industry experts from various fields of expertise.
We invite you to submit your best remodeling project to this year’s competition.
The deadline to submit a project is Friday, April 21, 2023. Good news! We've extended the deadline until April 26!
EIR Awards Reception
BIAW hosts an EIR Awards reception that honors the winners. The event is in conjunction with the BIAW summer board meeting. This year's venue is The Centennial by Davenport Hotels in Spokane on Monday, June 26, 2023, 7-9 pm.
